Beaches

Northumberland offers some of the best beaches to visit within the UK, you will have plenty of choice from the sands of the most northerly town, Berwick upon Tweed  to the 7 miles long coastal bay, Druridge Bay.

Warkworth Beach – This dog friendly beach has free parking and toilets on site. For safety reasons it is advised to walk on the left side, as the water travels quickly to the right of the Estuary.
 
Alnmouth Beach – The natural construction of our beaches is also well suited to off lead fun, as they are separated from the roads by impressive sand dunes.
 
Bamburgh Castle Beach – Located north of Warkworth, this long stretch of coastline is overlooked by the beautiful Bamburgh Castle and dogs are allowed, perfect for a family day out.
