Golf breaks
Northumblerland is a haven for golfing enthusiasts. Home to a vast range great golf courses, located in some of the most stunning and dramatic landscapes in Britain there is something for everyone to enjoy. With Green fees starting at a very reasonable £15 per round and there are also a number of driving ranges where you can practice your swing.

Situated only half a mile from the hotel, the traditional links course of Warkworth Golf
Club offers spectacular views of the castle, coast and more. This challenging 9 hole course, with 18 different tee boxes, is renowned for not only the overall quality of the course but its monstrous 15th hole, a 246 yard par three, the first hole, a daunting 217 yard par three, both with rough to the left and out of bounds to the right.

There are links by the dozen along the coast: Goswick, Dunstanburgh Castle and Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, offer true links challenges, set in the stunning surroundings of the Northumberland Coast. Further inland award-winning parkland tracts are also available to play.
