Warkworth Beach
The award-winning beach is a only a 20 minute walk from the
village centre, however visitors can drive and there is a car
park alongside the picnic area. A large expanse of golden sand
backed by an extensive dune system it really is a must-see when
visiting the area and perfect for a morning walk after breakfast
or an evening stroll before dinner
There are about
two dozen beaches in the North East, recommended by the Good Beach Guideincluding
